LEATHERFACE "mush" (Self Released) – 16€ (Dirty Yellow Vinyl,
Limited to 100)
Taking their name from the cult classic horror film, 90s underground punk icons, Leatherface, were stalwarts of the UK scene, arriving at a time many thought that brand of brash songwriting had had its day. Re-writing the rule book when it came to punk requisites; passion; angst and power combined with undeniable songwriting and technical prowess. Led by the impassioned and emotive wordsmith Frankie Stubbs, it made them one of the most exhilarating bands of their time.
Hailing from the industrial town of Sunderland, Leatherface formed in 1988. With a line-up consisting of Stubbs, guitarist Dickie Hammond, bass player Stuart Schooler and drummer Andrew Laing. Stubbs’ rasping vocals complimented the explosive hooks and thrashing guitars, which quickly became their trademark.
Following on from 1989’s ‘Cherry Knowle’, 1990 saw the band sign to Fire and release the fierce and defining, ‘Fill Your Boots’. With Stubbs and Hammond beginning to collaborate more on songwriting, it also introduced new bassist Rob Turnball. (Breaking in a new bass player every album would quickly become a trend for the band.) From this album ‘Razor Blades And Aspirin’ and ‘Peasant in Paradise’ would remain in their repertoire for over twenty years. With ‘Fill Your Boots’ proving a success, later that year they would go on to produce the Smokey Joe EP.
However it was 1991’s follow-up ‘Mush’ that’s continually been regarded as an absolute punk classic. Teaming up with engineer Paul Tipler (who also worked on Stereolab and Chapterhouse), ‘Mush’ was recorded in Greenhouse Studios in North London (owned by Pat Collier of The Vibrators). Following praise from the music press, they soon found themselves doing John Peel and Mark Radcliffe sessions.
Gaining attention throughout the UK and with popularity in the US on the horizon with ‘Mush’, ‘Minx’ was released in 1993. Arriving at the peak of their powers it would also be on the brink of their first hiatus. Channelling Stubbs’ love for Joy Division, the new album had a more emotional direction, in contrast to the group’s earlier recordings. Recorded in Stubbs’ home studio, ‘Minx’ came with the addition of their much loved fourth bassist, former Snuff band member Andy Crichton. The album has since been considered a lost classic by the band’s rabid followers.
LEATHERFACE "minx" (Roughneck Recording Company) - 14€
Leatherface were formed by legendary singer, guitarist and songwriter Frankie Stubbs in Sunderland in the late 1980's, and immediately made an impression on the British scene with their Tom Waits meets Replacements meets Stiff Little Fingers sound. 1993's "Minx" isn't quite up to the standards of its predecessor (maybe something to do with two members of the band leaving shortly after its completion), but its still pretty damn fantastic, especially due to the inclusion of tracks like the aforementioned "Do The Right Thing", "Pale Moonlight" and the beautiful "Skin Deep". The LP comes with 2 bonus sonx which are taken from the bonus EP Promo Single. This edition was available only through the "Chain With No Name" group of independent record shops in the UK. Includes 2 Songs from the free Hyper-Limited 7" Single, originaly came with the first pressing. Inserts fold-out sleeve with lyrics & pictures.

LIFEWRECK - st (Scarecrow) - 10€
Lifewreck started in 2012, in 2014 they self released their EP cotaining 8 songs called "Aggravation". On the early 2017, the band hit the studio to record 13 new songs for their first full length album. Within this new recording, you will be able to spot an intense chance of their style which progressed from raw powerviolence with ripping in grind style vocals to more of early US hardcore sound blended with nowadays US sound with real great match delay on vocals. The songs are still short and aggressive but more restrained with 2-3 exceptions. Limited to 300 copies.
LIP CREAM "kill ugly pop" (Rats) - 14€ (Clear Vinyl)
Lip Cream alongside Gauze stand out as one of the classic early Japanese punk bands that incorporated a lot of hardcore and thrash influence into their powerful music. Lip Cream later went on to release a number of highly successful albums and instead of sticking to the more boppy punk sound they originally produced headed towards flat out heavy thrash that too is worthy of merit.
This LP was originally released in 1986. Handnumbered release of 500 in foldover jacket. Includes poster and insert.
LIP CREAM "kill the ibm + bonus" (Fan Club) - 11€
Lip Cream alongside Gauze stand out as one of the classic early Japanese punk bands that incorporated a lot of hardcore and thrash influence into their powerful music. Lip Cream later went on to release a number of highly successful albums and instead of sticking to the more boppy punk sound they originally produced headed towards flat out heavy thrash that too is worthy of merit. BIOCIDIO album tracks are taken from the split with KONTRAATTAQUE recorded and mixed at VRS studios by Samuel Ruiz and LFAA in July 2001, and it includes unreleased bonus tracks from the same studio session. LUMPY AND THE DUMPERS "those pickled fuckers" (La Vida En Us Mus) - 14€
Since emerging five years ago Lumpy and the Dumpers have gone from being aberrant oddballs to key figures in a whole scene of weirdo punk. Through Lumpy Records and its influence a grubby morrass of freak punk has bubbled to the surface in their slimy wake. Those Pickled Fuckers is the sound of a band distinguishing themselves from a sound they inspired, not falling into the easiness of a sound, finding new ways to express their grubby vision while retaining the essential muck that made people take notice in the first place.
Over seven tracks of gritty discomfort punk, bulging with bodyhorror blues and puerile manic imprecations, Lumpy and the Dumpers revel and writhe in the effluvia of life and the rude pangs and oozings of flesh.
Revivifying the dead metaphor of the earworm, these songs burrow snugly into your brain, distorted sing-song playground melodies, like hell dimension children's show theme songs, exploding with weird turns and twists, from the blaring horns of Someone's In The House's paranoiac stomp, to the wild malfunctioning chiptune screams cutting through Attention and the... more.
LYCANTROPHY st (Power It Up) LP - 10€
This blistering bit of czech fastcore is the perfect musical whirlwind to redirect any of your bubbling anger into. 20 tunes in barely 18 minutes is ultra-breezy for an actual full length album but this stuff is a pure concentrate of rage without any boring extra filling so you shouldn't feel short-changed. I'm guessing 22 minutes is probably the average length for a Lycanthrophy liveset! The female vocals bring about undeniable appeal, this lady's bloodcurdling shrieks are definitely impressive and her range of screaming rage suits me perfectly (not as shrill as most female grind vocalists I've heard so far!). You're also getting pissed off male back-up barking as well. Crushingly fast and sharp drum blasts, a massive barrage of grinding riffs with a thick, heavy low-tuned guitar sound, just solid, steadily grinding songs; this stuff is maybe going too fast to truly make a lasting impression, this is a spur of the moment, speed-ball of frenzy going at a hundred miles an hour, so a lot of the songs kind of blur together for me. The band is maybe guilty of overkilling it with the breakdown effect too, with the sound completely fading out/cutting off, I usually dig this stuff but it can get a little gimmicky at times... The sound production is very polished and very impactful. It could also use some more rawness in my opinion but otherwise I think I'll keep this cd handy to put on whenever I feel a little stressed out. This is clearly some of the most effective and fastest, screaming type of grind out there! I'm really digging the artwork, and there's an alternate black and white cover art plus a complete lyrics sheet in english language (and the vocals actually seem to stick to the lyrics closely, most of the time!) Sick cover art handled by SF&L homie Jeff Metal Sayers from WASTOID. The Limited repress contains one bonustrack.
MAN LIFTING BANNER "the revolution continues" (Crucial Response) DOUBLE LP - 18€
While so many on the left cried defeat and dropped their so-called 'old-fashioned' principles, ManLiftingBanner felt an urge to go against the grain. Included in this record you will find the entire "Myth Of Freedom" 7" (1991), "Ten Inches That Shook The World" 10"(1992), one compilation track and eight newly recorded songs from 2011. The new songs are done in the traditional hardcore punk style only ManLiftingBanner can pull off. Expect nothing less.29 songs for a new generation, but also for those who where with the band back in the days and for those who kept the revolutionary fire inside and outside of the hardcore punk community strong and burning. Last but not least, after almost 20 years all the ManLiftingBanner songs are finally available on vinyl again. Moreover, the record comes with a huge, fully coloured 12-page booklet with photos, quotes, all the lyrics and a big-sized A2 poster for all your propaganda needs.
MARBLED EYE "leisure"
(Erste Theke Tonträger) - 13€
Debut LP from this Bay Area, California band whose EP we raved and released about a while back, and now that they’re on vinyl full lenght, we still love them. To me, Marbled Eye sound like the perfect mix of Total Control and Parquet Courts. Like both of those bands, Marbled Eye have a way of combining a Krautrock-style groove with angular, Wire-esque post-punk style riffing and wrapping the whole thing up in great pop songwriting.
While their hooks aren’t quite as big as the most memorable moments of the bands I just compared them to, I feel like that’s by design. Even though this is a LP, it’s so grooved out that it feels like a record you put on and get lost in the atmosphere of rather than putting on to pump your fist and sing along. This band is absolutely killer, and I feel like it’s only a matter of time before they’re as big as the two bands I just compared them to, so grab this LP and get in on the ground floor. The Austin band Institute pairs numbing and rigid post-punk with a Krautrock vibe, and the pairing turns out to be perversely appealing.
Flouting Rockist conventions with equal doses of stark minimalism and plodding fury, these post-punks resolutely refuse the "post" prefix. MARBLED EYE slithers effortlessly across genre boundaries, drawing upon myriad eras and localities. The Units, Neu!, Wire, Television, CRISIS, and contemporary sounds from the Australian garage rock subterrain like TOTAL CONTROL or INSTITUTE and DIÄT all come to mind. If you are familiar with the MARBLED EYE demo, you will be fanatic about this new LP.
They lean towards the punk side of post-punk. They recall Crisis & Coitus Int. with a mix of anarcho bands thrown in there, too, and create a fascinating tension, a palpable struggle between their inner selves and their music that demands to be heard. As sharp as the band's earlier work, but you can hear that they climbed the next step with this new EP. Expertly tight and catchy drumming, cold as ice, monotone, pitch perfect post-punk vocals and a rhythm section that would make anyone jealous.
This is just a captivating listen the whole way through, the kind of record I can put on and just watch the turntable spinning, getting lost in its intricacies.
MASSACRE 68 "no estamos conformes!" (Kamaset Levyt) - 12€
Official reissue of this classic hc/punk album from Mexico. 15 songs of raw and aggressive hardcore punk with lyrics dealing with corrupt police, military, elections, corruption, support for political prisoners... The band members also played in Atoxxxico and Solucion Mortal, covered songs by Rattus and Olho Seco, so you know what sort of sound to expect. This is a classic Spanish language hardcore punk record, and probably the most influential punk record from Mexico.

NADZóR "your tolerance is shit if you don't try to understand us!!!" (Pasazer) - 11€
Noisy thrashcore coming straight from the small town of Oświęcim, Poland. This is fast, lo-fi noisy thrash with some slower metal breaks probably inspired by Metallica or Slayer, it's not really crossover though, could be compared to other Polish bands as The Corpse or Moskwa who were playing in the same approach at that time. This demo had been released first by the German label T.N.T in the late eighties, then reissued ten years later in Poland by Trujaca Fala, then reissued on vinyl last year with a proper and cleaner studio recording. Archive contains a huge booklet with lyrics, band pictures and history.
NECROPHILIA mentalna pustinja" (NE!) LP + CD - 12€ (Black)
Few had expected that from 2 to 3 musical experiments from 1980 and ‘81. ("Glass Jugoslavije", "Civili" and "Bojeve Glave") would lead to the formation of Necrophilia! The group was formed in 1982. The line-up was: Pi Pi bass, Miša – drums, Z. Misterius guitar + vocal and backing vocal was Deki (who was later replaced by Gvido and in the last phase of Risto Topalovski). It was literally one of the first hardcore punk bands, at a time when HC punk in the world was at the height of the musical, ideological, status-like or how you want to interpret it. "Our style is based on the recipe quickly - noisy and engaged with the ultra-fast distorted guitars and lyrics based on the anti-war and social issues" - in an interview explains Misterius. If the band wrote in the
circles of independent media (fanzines), but the attention was sharply after the band appeared on V/A "Buka in Urlik," a cassette compilation with ''Herpes Distress'' and ''Solunski front'' (No profit Tapes # 001). Rehearsals were a problem and the band managed what they could and everything was possible: rooms, garages, makeshift studios, concert stage, all options were in play as unplug rehearsal in the train to Ljubljana. Appearances were frequent: in the hall "Pionir", the brewery "Skadarlija" (with "Solunski front" and ''Pogrebni zavod"), the XIII BG's gymnasium (with "Van kontrole" from Novi Sad , -pre 2 Minute mrznje, "Posle Procesa" and "Solunski front") in Ljubljana at hardcore party at Disco FV-up (with "Solunski front"), where they documented in
their first video and interview with Igor Vidmar from "Radio Student". About this group was often in fanzines from all over Yugoslavia ("Katastrof," from Belgrad, "Povratak otpisanih" from Ljubljana, "Izazov" from Istria, "Zasto bas mi" from Subotica ...). In the middle of 1984 some of the band members went to the obligatory military service, and the group disbanded. LTD 360 copies (115 black, 85 clear vinyl and 160 picture disc) in gate-fold sleeve, printed innersleeve and exclusive 24-page booklet "Choose the struggle or die in apathy". Only 100 copies of these included CD. All songs are remastered!
NEGAZIONE "...lo spirito continua..." (Contempo) - 20€
The debut-album by the historic hc group from Turin, originally released in 1986 by Konkurrel in Holland and Mordam in the United States, then reissued in 1989 by T.V.O.R. (Italy), and now by Contempo. Rightly considered one of the absolute masterpieces of European hc/punk, 'Lo Spirito Continua...' is now completely remastered from the original tapes by famous sound engineer Ale Sportelli, longtime collaborator of the band in the early days. An essential hc masterpiece!
NEUROSIS "souls at zero" (Fan Club/Alternative Tentacles) - 12€
Great repro their third LP, originally released in 1992 under the Alternative Tentacles Records. The title was taken from a chapter in the book The Great and Secret Show by horror writer Clive Barker. Unlike their previous efforts, this album showcases the band's penchant for playing densely layered, folk-influenced music at radically slower tempos. While this album likely alienated a large portion of their early fan base, it has become an important landmark for newer Neurosis fans. In an interview the band stated that the famous cover art was inspired by the movie The Wicker Man but since they could not acquire the licence for the image affordably, they created their own straw figure for the artwork.
NEUROOT "right is might" (Havoc) - 10€
Deluxe reissue of this long lost material from 1980's Dutch hardcore band Neuroot. Many people know this band from their killer 7" and appearance on the "Peace" comp. Recorded 1985 at Emma in Amsterdam, this studio session was meant to be the Neuroot side of the split LP with Fratricide on Pusmort. Pushead pressed 25 test pressings of this LP but never put it into production, making it one of the rarest hardcore records of the 1980s. This is repressed as a 45 RPM 12", gatefold sleeve and sweet '80s style layout (no half-assed pixelated cover art here).
NEWTOWN NEUROTICS "elephant demos" (No PLan) - 16€
In 1980, sometime between their first and second 7", Newtown Neurotics recorded a 10 song demo. Why they never used any of it for later releases is a mystery. Perhaps because shortly afterwards they changed drummers. Either way, the 10 song demo remained unreleased for nearly 40 years. Now it´s here in all it´s beauty, with an added bonus track recorded live the same year where they cover one of Buddy Holly´s biggest hits. Amazing punk rock that is at the same time tuneful and provocative. A must have. Gatefold cover. Black vinyl limited to 300 copies.
NEWTOWN NEUROTICS "pissed as a newt" (No Plan) - 12€
Pissed As A Newt is an album worth of EARLY (´78-´80) live recordings that were only released as a cassette in 1982 on Steve´s NO WONDER records. Now it´s available on vinyl for the first time ever! Comes with a double sided insert with lyrics and unpublished photos of the band! All this material was written and performed long before the first album. Thought provoking Punk Rock with melody and punch that Newtown Neurotics have always been known for.
NEW YORK WANNABES st (P.Trash) - 5€
2 piece Garage band from Germany that brings to mind THE CRAMPS, 68 COMEBACK, OBLIVIANS and THE GORIES. This is just good old 60’s blues Garage Punk trash with songs about good and evil and played with blood, sweat and tears! There’s a very genuiness to their song writing and it comes off very natural and pure.
NIGHTFELL "the living ever mourn" (Southern Lord) -
Nightfell unites Portland, OR musicians Todd Burdette (Tragedy, Warcry, His Hero Is Gone) and Tim Call (Aldebaran, Mournful Congregation) with "The Living Ever Mourn" rending over forty minutes of purely epic metal, bridging morose heaviness with melodic destruction envisioned and executed in a period of grief, delirium and loss of life.
NIHILIST "drowned - the demos" (Euro Fan) - 14€
Death metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 1987. Nihilist was one of the first bands to emerge from the Stockholm death metal scene. The group recorded three demo tapes before disbanding in 1989 due to disagreements within the band (namely between Johnny Hedlund and the rest of the group). After the split Nicke Andersson however quickly reformed the group as Entombed, but without Hedlund, who then went to form his own band Unleashed.
Amazing demos compilation by Nihilsit, one of the most important and influent Swedish Death Metal bands EVER! The family tree of this band is stunning, having spawned acts like Entombed and Unleashed and their trademark sound became the blueprint of a whole scene. This compilation features their three demos ("Prematury Autopsy" 1988, "Only shreds remain" 1989 and "Drowned" 1989) and their "Radiation sickness" EP, the first Entombed demo ("But life goes on" 1989) and some Entombed live tracks as a bonus. This is absolutely,MANDATORY, a history lesson for every Death Metal fan out there!

After 7 years of chaos, emotion, blood, sweat and black humuor, THE NOW-DENIAL has put out their 3rd full-length album. 'Mundane lullaby' brings 12 brand new harsh, pissed off hardcore songs. NO PROBLEM "let god sort 'em out" (Taken By Surprise) - 14€
Standing on the precipice of a damaged world circling the drain Edmonton punks NO PROBLEM are set to figuratively "kill’em all" with the release of "let god sort ’em out", their ambitious 3rd studio album out on Deranged Records. NO PROBLEM welcomes listeners into a frightening world filled with heavy riffs and nervous, gloomy, frustrated sounds. The perfect summer playlist to underscore our impending doom. A mainstay in Edmonton Alberta’s underground punk community, blending the mutant sounds of early Canadian punk with the classic primitive stomp of American hardcore. Vinyl includes a digital download card.
NO TREND "you deserve your life" (Digital Regress) - 18€
In 1983, No Trend booked time at Inner Ear studio to record material for what would become the Teen Love 7”. In this session they also recorded 6 additional songs: some were re-recorded and featured on their first album, Too Many Humans; the rest never saw a release until well after the band was finished. After the recording session the band embarked on their first tour across the U.S., a punishing experience which resulted in drummer Michael Salkind quitting the band. He recounts: “I received 25 copies of the EP as my divorce settlement, and went on to play in a variety of bands in and around the DC area. None of them ever attained the status of No Trend, nor did I ever lose as much money and dignity.” This record, You Deserve Your Life, contains the earliest recorded iteration of No Trend’s material from their first Inner Ear session, and two live songs never recorded otherwise. This is the first time that this material has been available on vinyl.
OMEGA TRIBE "no love lost" (La Vida
En Us Mus) - 14€
Remastered vinyl reissue of the debut and only Omega Tribe album, originally released in late 1983 on Corpus Christi Records. The album was recorded by Guitarist Pete Fender deep in the Poison Girl’s basement studio in Leyton and contains 11 punk anthems with a pop sensibility missed by most of their curse of 1983 peers. Omega Tribe were one of the few bands that had a much more softer, poetic and melodic style of playing that still managed to impress, educate and influence their audiences. It was protest music with a heart and sense of love that still is relevant 35 years later. This album has never been reissued and deserves it's place right next to the Mob - Let the Tribe Increase, Poison Girls - Hex and Zounds - Curse of Zounds.
OHYDA - st (La Vida En Us Mus) - 13€
Debut release from Lublin’s OHYDA. Distorted dark hardcore which channels the spirit of the classic Polish hardcore punk of DEZERTER or TRAGIEDIA (who they cover on the B side), mixes it with modern Barcelona bands ala DESTINO FINAL and incorporates quasi industrial beats a la CRESS with a hint of psychedelia creating a hybrid that is a monster on its own. Seven tracks in nearly 16 filled minutes which keeps us hoping for more soon.
The record comes in a 350 gsm reverse board sleeve designed by Szymon Siech with a 12 page A6 lyric booklet and a download code.
OI POLLOI "saorsa" (Skuld) - 12€
This is the sixth studio album of the long going scottish anarchist punk band "OI POLLOI" (Slang for "The Common People")
15 new songs recorded in 2014 with an retrospective of the many musically influences of previous OI POLLOI records. Here you find the anarcho charged sing-a-long Oi!Punk in exchange with D-Beat-Crust and of course classic UK Anarcho Punk.
"Saorsa" means "Freedom" in scottish gaelic and "Freedom" or "Liberty" is the lyrical main subject of this album. Lyrics are mostly sung in English with little excursions into Gaelic, Spanish as well as Yiddish. With all the heavy political content, OI POLLOI never excluded humor in what they do and this is what makes them so sympathic in my eyes.
Responsible for the beautiful artwork was Sonia L. who already contributed to previous OI POLLOI records such as "Fuaim Catha".
OI POLLOI / TOXIK EPHEX "mad as fuck" - split (Mad Butcher) - 13€
Repress of this top class Scottish Anarcho-Punk meeting. Originally released in 1987 we have 7 classic crusty Anarchoi Punk stompers from the representatives from Edinburgh (OI POLLOI) and 5 folk influenced cynical Punkrock tracks by those Aberdeen lads (Toxik Ephex) … this album was unavailable since the initial press was gone… trap one now!
OBLITERATIONS “poison everything” (Southern Lord) - 14€
Comprised of current and ex-members of Black Mountain, Saviours and Night Horse, OBLITERATIONS delivers a blazing blend of Poison Idea, Discharge, and Black Flag, set to a live show that willfully incites and encourages one’s aggressive tendencies to shine. Comes in Stoughton gatefold jacket. A day after returning from their Southwest US Tour in March, the band recorded with producer Chris Owens (Lords, Coliseum, Young Widows) at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in only three days. Mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge, High On Fire, Black Breath) at God City Studio in Salem, Massachusetts, the end result of Poison Everything is a thirteen-song, twenty-nine-minute record full of raw brutality, darkness and aggression, the album weaving its way through the annals of punk and hardcore, while still sounding fresh and vital.
The lead track “Mind Aint Right” is a two-minute blast harkening back to early ‘80s Japanese hardcore akin to Gauze, Lip Cream and GISM, whereas the scorcher, “Scapegoat,” walks a razor’s edge between d-beat Discharge influence and Swiss pioneers Celtic Frost, and “Shame,” which opens with a riff that lodges itself nicely between Spacemen 3 and The MC5.
The band has always been very open to expressing their influences and inspiration by a bevy of diverse muses including Alan Watts, Laughing Hyenas, Blue Oyster Cult, The Stooges, Alice Cooper, Paul Bowles and Suicide. The blueprint isn’t the point here, it’s the results. The sound is abrasive and raw, driving and aggressive, and fully infectious. OBLITERATIONS’ mission is simple a one; write, record, tour, and that’s just what they do.
OMEGA TRIBE "no love lost" (La Vida En Us Mus) - 14€
OPPRESSED "dead & buried" (Radiation) - 12€
Originally released by Oi Records, this LP contains two singles and a demo recorded in 1983 from this Welsh, anti-racist skinhead band.
The Oppressed is an Oi-band formed in 1981 in Cardiff (Wales) led by Rody Moreno. They are one of the main ANTI-RACIST groups within the movement, this is expressed in their reviews, interviews and letters from their canciones. Next to their clear political opinion they deliver great music which to me is more rooted to punk than to crappy distight oi!
OUTREAU - st (Une vie pour rien Vinyles) - 12€
After 2 EPs, the first album from this Parisian band. A mix of oi! and hardcore, hatefull vocals, rough sound and dark lyrics. Somewhere between Iron Cross or Negative Approach.

Peggio Punx were one of those bands who like few others define the sound of Italy. Mosquito guitars, shrieking vocals and hectic drumming combined with a very unique overall layer of urgency and immediacy.
This is the third release by Peggio Punx, originally released in 1985, here coming together with the first 7". So, here we have a 12" LP, a 7" EP and a nice insert. Furious HC from Italy.
PELIGRO! - st (Discos Enfermos) - 10€
This is a new band from members of HORROR, LOS DOLARES, ETACARINAE, PRIMATES, but brings a fresh sound not heard from any of their previous bands. The music is a heavy dose of BLACK SABBATH mixed with MOTORHEAD, and ANNIHILATION TIME comes to mind as well, but the real treat is that they keep it hardcore with the drive that many heavier bands can't keep up. I really liked these guys live and this record is testament to their skills. I first heard this 5% faster than the LP was recorded at, and I must say I really liked that speed too.
PERMISSION "contagious life" (La Vida En Us Mus) - 13€
Storming debut by London's Permission. An LP full of cut corners, but not the kind that diminish impact or relinquish effort to what could of been, bur more the kind of oblique angles and low sharp ceilings that cause the head that does not bang to bang, lesion, swell, and never clot. Forged in the tattered die-cut of the contemporary edges of hardcore but thoroughly punched clear out of the factory, thanks to the now legendary edge of guitar player Ralph Simmond’s stereo detuning, alongside tight turns and sharp time changes. Big moves pin this LP far beyond expectation and straight onto a great punk hit. Move or be shoved. Absorb or be locked out. Somewhere between a hi-fi Rudimentary Peni and if Saccharine Trust was a rugby team.
Contagious Life comes housed in a heavy weight reverse board sleeve designed by Ralph Simmonds and has a lyric insert and download code.
PERSPEX FLESH 'ordered image" (Static Shock) - 13€
Just under a year from the release of their debut LP, PERSPEX FLESH return with a brand new 6 track 12" EP. Undoubtedly their strongest work yet, this takes all of the influences of the previous records, the feeling of claustrophobia, the tasteful nods to bands such as RUDIMENTARY PENI, SPIKE IN VAIN and COLD SWEAT, as well as an occasional post punk feel, and merges it into something ugly and unique. UK Hardcore has been possibly in it's best state for the best part of two decades in recent memory, and this is another record to help enforce that claim. Featuring members of THE FLEX, DiE and BROKEN ARM.
PHOBIA "remnants of filth" (Deep Six) - 15€
Legendary grind merchants PHOBIA are set to scathe the masses with their fifth studio offering, Remnants of Filth, this June. Produced and mixed by Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed) at Visceral Sound Studios in Bethesda, Maryland and engineered by Mike Harrison at Winter Skies Productions in San Antonio, Texas, Remnants Of Filth offers up 18 pile-driving, socio-political grind hymns in 19 minutes. Vocalist Shane "The Pain" Mclachlan comments of the offering: "Remnants Of Filth is a brutal, in-depth grind record that I feel represents what this band is all about, from past to present. This is total brutal grindcore at its best with nothing less than the 100% punk-as-fuck attitude to compliment what this band is all about!
PHOBIA "22 random acts of violence" (Deep Six) - 15€
What can be said about Phobia that has not already been said? After 18 years of touring, partying, and releasing some of the sickest punk infused grind to ever come out of California, they are once again ready to unleash their latest and greatest. 22 Random Acts Of Violence is a grindcore lover’s dream come true. Phobia’s specialty of blending the ferocity of metal with the attitude of punk is in full-force on this new album.
THE PLASMATICS "new hope for the
wretched" (Radiation) - 14€ (AVAILABLE FROM JANUARY 4)
The Plasmatics may not fit on everyone’s list of great forgotten bands, and you’d have a hard time finding anyone who calls 1980’s New Hope for the Wretched a forgotten classic. But, New Hope is a driving metal album of pure shocking filth. It sounds like Motorhead fronted by a female singer, and not just any female singer. It’s Wendy fuckin’ O. Williams. She is the queen of shock rock. Frankly, I’m not even a fan of shock rock, or generally 80’s rock at all, but the Plasmatics play it loud, reckless, and frenzied, allowing the punk in me to take hold of the sound. If you have any interest in 80’s punk or heavy metal, than New Hope for the Wretched needs to be in your collection.
POISON “sons of evil” (F.O.A.D.) - 16€
Limited edition of 150 copies on blood red vinyl. Pure infernal armageddon, not for the weak!! One of the most deviated, disgusting and anti-musical Death Metal aberrations ever conceived. 2nd pressing on FOAD Records, this LP is made exactly as the cassette version that was circulating in the 80s! Originally released in 1984, “Sons of evil” is the first demo recording from the malevolent and sinister German entity known as POISON. This sounds so raw and extreme that even the band members took their time to decide whether to license a vinyl reissue or not, and the graal got unlocked only when after years of research through the most insane puritan collectors, we tracked a source whose quality was even “better” than the masters owned by the band and got it properly restored and mastered by our wizard H.O.D. at Toxic Basement studio. So one thing is sure: this LP is the matchless, best sounding version of “Sons of evil” you can dream about. Now quoting what has been already said about this gem: as primitive and barbaric as a Stone Age gang-rape, this tape is possessed by total darkness and evil. Musically, this runs the gamut from morbidly mid-paced to intense and somewhat insane. It bears no real similarities to any of their German counterparts, such as Sodom, Destruction or Kreator. The slower parts sound very reminiscent of Hellhammer. The vocals of Virgin Slaughter are possessed and maniacal, at times, his demonic voice actually accentuates the dark mood of the music, rather than detracting from it. As for the rest of the songwriting, this is like a war on the senses. Primitive and violent in nature, the riffs saw through you while the drums pound your skull into oblivion. It is almost difficult to believe something so bestial and grotesque existed back in 1984. The sound is on the same level as the “Death By Metal” demo, from Mantas, and makes the old Venom and Bathory records seem like they were done in high-dollar facilities. “Sons of Evil” is a monstrous offering from a band that had truly tapped into something dark and aggressive. Includes a booklet printed on old school fanzine styled light blue paper, with rare photos, flyers and excerpts from zines/mags of that era!
POISON GIRLS "chappaquiddick bridge" LP + ONE SIDED EP/7" (Water Wing) - 15€
Chappaquiddick Bridge, the bands first full length LP, was originally released on Crass Records in 1980 and featured the same lineup as HEX. And like Hex, it shared the producer/engineer team of Penny Rimbaud and John Loder. This record sees Poison Girls at their most experimental stage. The songs dig deeper into the connections between the personal and political. Starting with an uncredited version of ‘State Control’ (one of the bands punkiest crowd pleasers) done in an ‘unplugged’ style, and ending with the similarly stripped down ‘Tender Lover’, this album broke all the rules of what a ’punk’ album should sound like. The songs are long. There are extended sonic workouts and codas, using synths, abused studio effects, electric violin, acoustic piano as well as ‘random’ electric guitar sounds and vocals. The mix has thundering drums up front that power the songs, and help create a barrage of rich sound. The lyrics speak of love, power, sexual politics, war and peace and most things in between. This is Vi at her most poetic, but with a razor sharp insight, and not holding back on using it. A truly original album. If it was removed, lost or destroyed, your original copy of Chappaquiddick Bridge came with a one-sided flexi disc containing the anthem "Statement". This 2014 reissue also includes "Statement" as a proper one-sided 7" vinyl. Sturdy tip-on gatefold cover.
POISON IDEA "blank blackout vacant" (Fan Club) - 12€
Though not quite the shotgun blast of an album that its predecessor, "Feel the Darkness", was, "Blank Blackout Vacant" is nonetheless an ample testimony to Poison Idea's unbridled power and force. Suffused with enough hate, pain, and rage to fuel an entire army, Jerry A.'s vocals, positively dripping with bile and venom, certainly cement his ideas with passion and force. "Understated" is not a word that is possible to use with this band. Poison Idea, from their inception in the very early '80s through their terminal point, shone with bitter, violent power. Unlike most Poison Idea albums from the '80s, "Blank Blackout Vacant" doesn't rely on speed to get its point across. In fact, a song like "Forever and Always," with its loose, Aerosmith-like groove and its saxophone, presages the type of rock & roll that bands like Rocket from the Crypt would make years later. Many other songs reside in the same vein. The cover of the New York Dolls' "Vietnamese Baby" provides an interesting touch, amping up the original, while retaining its desperate, low-rent feeling. While not quite the bellowing, fire-breathing beast that is "Feel the Darkness", "Blank Blackout Vacant" is a more varied, eclectic piece of work from this veteran American hardcore band.
POISON IDEA "ian mackaye" (Fan Club) – 10€
Fan club reissue of the 'Get Loaded And Fuck' cassette (1988), which compiled the 'Filthkick E.P.' 7" EP (minus one track, 'New Rose'), 'Getting The Fear' 12" (1989) and 1 new track (B3 'Burned For The Last Time').
POSSESSED "the demos 1984-1993" (Fan Club) - 11€
The life affirming Death Metal demo tape from 1984 comes accompanied with a raw 1984 rehearsal and the two demo’s the band did in the early 90’s. This is a mandatory piece of extreme metal’s history no real metal collection can go without.
POST REGIMENT "czar zly" (NNNW) - 9€
Available again on vinyl, repressed and remastered with completely new artwork. Their second LP from 1996, great powerful female fronted hc/punk from Warsaw.
PRESSING ON "no defeat no capitulation" (Even Worse) - 11€
Portland's based Pressing on put out a small amount of tapes earlier this year, which was more of a rough version of the totally remastered and mixed now known as the "No defeat, no capitulation" record, and boy did it turn out louder and clearer then i would've imagined. Pressing On consists of members of the late and great Talk Is poison, as well as from Ashes Rise, and the still going Raw Nerves. Expect nothing less than total anthemic and defiant hardcore with all around great musicianship, and strong sense of melody in that great Talk Is poison style, yet holding their own. A clenched fist pumper for sure.
st (La Vida En Us Mus) - 15€
Howling and screaming like an acid trip gone wrong - Melbourne’s PRIORS punch to the surface with 9 ultra-bombastic cuts of relentless hardcore! Channeling the raw ferocity of groups like KAAOS and VAURIO with the dark and driving melodies of LAMA - PRIORS inject enough character and attitude to establish this sound as a beast entirely of their own creation. A frightening mix of breakneck melodies and cacophonous destruction! Featuring members from a circle of Australian bands quickly making their mark on the international scene (including SISTEMA EN DECADENCIA, EXECUTION, HELTA SKELTA, and NERVE) this LP was one of the first to be started and last to be finished. PRODUKT "slabosci" (Pasazer) - 12€
Second release from this Olsztyn and Warsaw based band that features members of EL BANDA and UTOPIA among others. Once again they deliver kick ass raw and dirty punk rock with a little dose of D-beat. Here you get a slight touch of modern crust such as "Tragedy", rather than the classic Polish punk sound. Once again no happy songs nor choruses to clap to, but you'll find some brilliant (even if bitter) lyrics tackling on problems of everyday.
"back to the puke age" (New
Re issue of the classic LP by Puke from 1987. Puke played melodic, fast paced slightly metallic punk in the late 80's with a sound that set them apart from more hardcore bands like Anti Cimex and Crude SS or more straight forward punk bands like Asta Kask and Strebers. This re issue contains the LP and the song off Really Fast volume 4.
PUKE / SVART PARAD - split (New
Two demos from Svart Parad, the "Back to the 30s" 7" and comp tacks from Puke. Classic Swedish Hardcore, this complements the Puke and Svart Parad Lps on the same label. Raw, no frills mangel HC the real Swedish way, all stuff recorded in the mid 80s. The great thing of this split compilatio is that even if with different approaches (Svart Prad being more on the raw and filthy side of things, Puke more on the catchy one), both bands are very connected in attitude and smash-factor.
Svart Parad side:
A1 to A9 demo #1 "Myteri" (1984).
A10 to A12 demo #3 "En Dåres Dikt" (1985).
B1 & B2 "Vägra Anpassning" comp. CD.
B3 to B7 "Back To The 30's" 7".
B8 & B9 "Varning För Punk" comp. CD.

Available again for the first time in 20 years! - "Quarantine" was a short-lived band from Glasgow, Scotland and featured Brian Curran from Disaffect, Jamie Usher from Sedition and Tracey Fallon debut on Bass & Vocals. - Despite their previous more fast and hardcore inspired bands, QUARANTINE went on playing more passionated and emotional, melancholy fueled punkrock that became semi-legendary among the nineties DIY underground punkrock scene...
This double LP includes their only LP "Automatic Negative Thoughts", released originally 1996 on Nabate Records (Belgium), the "Junction 10" EP and compilation tracks as well as their early demos.
Also included is a zine - format interview about the band’s related stories and their present activities, as well as the lyricsheet. Music and artwork rebuilt with passion. Remastered by Marcin Dymiter and Bri Doom , artwork rebuilt by Mike Champagne (Knife In The Leg, Alert! Alert!, Ohyda and many more).
QUOD MASSACRE "v zmajevem gnezdu" (NE!) - 12€ (Black)
This album included 20 songs (+ 4 bonus songs) from bands early phase. Many of these songs were unknown until now. Angry, sympathetic and totaly energetic. This is Quod Massacre like you've never heard before! I heard Quod Massacre first time on the V/A "Breaking the silence" 7'' EP compilation. And right from the start, I was trapped in the exciting world the band created in their song "Quod Massacre" with their strong and nervous melody - and of course, it was a bit scary talking about band from the other side of the Iron Curtain. The EP was released
in 1987 and I was a punk rocker from a small town in Sweden who preferred European punk, like Wretched, Disper -Azione, Terveet Kädet, Slam, Kafka Process and HHH. I couldn’t stop listening to it. I fell for the edgy sound built on strong melodies and chaotic guitars, and I fell for Quod Massacre’s amazing vocals. You couldn’t label them; in my opinion in 1987 they were very distinctive, something that the guitarist Rile was very happy about when I interviewed them in the same year for my fanzine ‘’ Profit Blaskan’’. "We simply can't label our music. We play whatever we feel like playing, " he said in the article.
R.A.M.B.O. "bring it" (Havoc) - 10€
RAMBO's "sophmore effort" is a titanic bulldozer of hardcore moshstrocity. Combining the power of epic swedish hardcore like Wolfbrigade and Disfear, the sick mosh of Hatebreed and Madball, with the politics of Crass. RAMBO take on apathy, the system, religion, intolerance and bad dance styles in nineteen tracks. Masterful production and over the top artwork. LP come with a bonus full length DVD with show highlights, tour diary, and instructional presentations.
RAKTA s/t (540) - 15€
This music is equal parts post-punk and incantation, and is psych-hook laden as hell. Ratka is an all-female band from Sao Paulo, Brazil that seem to have come from out of nowhere to make most of the current post-punk/anarcho wave completely irrelevant. Their music is equal parts post-punk and incantation, and is psych-hook laden as hell. The record comes with a red and black on white poster that only adds to the mysterious bruxa vibes that the music gives. Each copy comes with 1 of 4 different 24"x36" silk screened poster.
RAXOLA - s/t (Veals & Geeks) - 14€
Fantastic debut album by Raxola, a Belgian punk band which formed 1977 by Yves Kengen, who previously played in Bastard with Brian James. They are, with The Kids and Hubble Bubble, one of the three Belgian bands to have had the opportunity to record an album from the beginning of the punk era. They split up in 1979 after their record company fired them for becoming too progressive.
This is reissue of this Belgian punk classic, originally released in 1978 on the Philips label. Following the success of THE KIDS' first LP, Philips was on the lookout for new punk talent. What they found was RAXOLA, and they took Belgium by storm with an amazing sound. Comes on pink vinyl.

RED ALERT “the oi! singles 1980/1983” (Common People) - 15€
North East of England outfit Red Alert originally formed in their native Sunderland in early 1979 with a line up of Steve Smith on vocals, Tony Van Frater on guitar, Gaz Stuart on bass, Kid Stocker on guitar and Mitch filling the drum stool. It was this version of Red Alert that recorded the legendary “Third and Final” EP (sometimes know as “Border Guards”), which was released on their own label in the summer of 1980 with all 250 sleeves actually glued together by the band themselves!
Leading Punk label No Future Records picked up on the band (who by now had Nobby on drums and slimmed to a four piece with the departure of Kid Stocker to Red London) and their first release for the label was the legendary “In Britain” EP which shot to the top of the then important Independent Chart.
Incidentally the two demos featured on this release, “S.P.G.” and “I Tore Your Picture Up”, were actually recorded at the same sessions as “In Britain” but, until now, had remained unreleased. A second Indie Chart hit came via mid 82’s “Take no prisoners” EP and they became a leading live attraction following gigs with the likes of The Business, Blitz, The Partisans and Peter & The Test Tube Babies. The “City Invasion” 7” preceded the release of Red Alert’s debut album “We’ve got the power” which, in true Punk value for money style, contained none of the bands singles releases and a different version of “S.P.G.” from that which had appeared on the legendary “Carry on Oi!” LP. A top 5 Indie Album Chart entry, the LP was followed by the six track 12” “There’s a guitar burning” thought this turned out to be the bands last release for No Future as the label folded in early ’84.
RED DEATH "permanent exile" (Hardware) - 12€
In 2014, DC's RED DEATH came out of the gate and obliterated everyone with one of the best hardcore demos of the year. Their first recorded output channeled the sheer brutality and precision of crossover classics like Animosity and Cause for Alarm, without straying too far from the rawness and reckless abandon of hardcore punk. On their new LP, Permanent Exile, Red Death delivers exactly as we hope a band with a strong outset should - with an even more powerful and focused follow up release. While influences on Permanent Exile range from Negative Approach to The Accused to Anti-Cimex, one thing is made clearly evidently: Red Death are first and foremost a hardcore band. As hardcore and punk get more fractionalized each year, they are band that puts emphasis and importance on the music they are creating, rather than what scene they fit in or what uniform they are wearing. Permanent Exile is the record for those of us who appreciate every facet of hardcore, punk, metal, and all genres in between - and that says a lot in 2015.
RED LORRY YELLOW LORRY "talk about the weather" (Radiation) - 15€
RSD 2018 release. A reissue (limited hand-numbered edition) on 180-GRAM VINYL of the 1985 debut-LP by Red Lorry Yellow Lorry. Back in the day this Leeds-based band gained quite some popularity with its appealing combination of post-punk and goth rock influences. Fans of Wire, Joy Division and Sisters Of Mercy can't do without this title.

On "electric guitar" you'll get 7 new studio tracks on the a-side. Following in the proven REGULATIONS style of going back to the roots of hardcore-punk, circa 1980. Catchy, snotty, raw, hardcore punk that would fit right in on Dangerhouse records or the "boston not l.a." compilation. The b-side features both 7"s (out-of-print) as bonus tracks.
REFUSED "demos" (Fan Club) - 12€

RHINO 39 - st (Radiation) - 16€
A long forgotten classic LP, finally back in print, in an edition of 500 copies on 180-gram vinyl. Formed in the late '70s at the same high school that spawned L.A. legends T.S.O.L., Rhino 39 had an unfortunate fate. After releasing a legendary single on Dangerhouse in 1979, one of the earliest examples of L.A. hc, lead singer Dave Dacron died in a car accident in 1980. His younger brother took over lead singing duties and though it took another six years for the self-titled debut-LP to be released, it still sounds like classic early 80s L.A. punk. A legendary band with a long forgotten classic LP finally back in print on Radiation Deluxe. 180 gram vinyl. Edition of 500.
RICH KIDS ON LSD "keep laughing" (No Futuro) - 14€
Classic California punk band that crossed the boundaries into hardcore with talented musicianship and a positive attitude. This is their debut album from 1985.
RIXE "collection" (La Vida En Us Mus) - 14€
Collection neatly compiles RIXE's first 3 Eps on one album. All 12 cuts have been remastered for maximum volume. Rixe appeared from nowhere and went from strength to strength over the two years since the Debut EP Coup Et Blessures was released in February 2015. The EP was their calling card and harked back to the glory years of Bologna's finest Nabat mixed with the classic 80's French Oi! sound. It was instant and loved by all and went on to have six pressings. A year later came Les Nerf A Vif - another four tracker with extra bite and bile. Every track was perfectly recorded and produced. Lean with snarl and each track a nugget of anthemic Oi!. On third EP Bapteme Du Feu there was no let up in quality... more.
RUDIMENTARY PENI "the e.p.'s of r.p." (Corpus Christi) - 13€
The E.P.s of R.P. is a compilation, t contains both of the band's first two 7" EPs, Rudimentary Peni and Farce. Tracks 1-12 were taken from the Rudimentary Peni 7" EP, recorded at Street Level in 1981 and released in August that year. Tracks 13-22 were from the Farce 7" EP, recorded at Southern Studios, London, in 1982, engineered by John Loder, produced by Penny Rimbaud and Rudimentary Peni, and released on Crass Records in July of that year.
RUDIMENTARY PENI "death church" (Corpus Christi) - 13€
Death Church was recorded in two days at Southern Studios in April of 1983. It was the band’s first long-player, following on the heels of their self-titled EP in 1981 and the Farce single on Crass Records in 1982. Arguably the most beloved album album of the band’s many fans, Death Church wore its contents on its sleeve, quite literally. The intricate line drawings of vocalist/guitarist Nick Blinko are dark visions of madness, religion and death...all of which are to be found in the lyrics within. Musically, Death Church has been embraced and claimed by every fringe musical niche of its time... it’s the album that brought together the death rockers, anarcho-punks, peace punks, hardcore punks, proto-metallers and art rockers.
Formed in 1980, Rudimentary Peni were initially inspired by bands such as The Damned, Slaughter and the Dogs, and Discharge. The release of their first EP in 1981 coincided with their first gig, with Flux of Pink Indians in London. Despite many rumours, no member of the band has ever died, (yet!) and the line up has remained constant on all the recorded releases. Packaged in a original fold-out poster sleeve.
RUIN / T.R.I.B.E. - split (Agipunk)

Tribe are ex-Scatha and are really close to them, lots of metal breaks that you'll dig even if you don't have long hair. Crust as fuck as always. Gatefold cover.

S.O.R. "sistem organizirane regresije" (NE!) LP + CD - 12€ (Black)
''S.O.R. do not pay regard to social norms. They reject all forms of state control and are against exploitation, profiteering and racism. They reject violence. S.O.R. approve real life and that is why they reject drugs. Becuse they mean escape from reality. They believe in good party, which means only party and no escape from reality. Their music is full of energy, with frequent rhytm changes, chaos and melodic changes. Do what you want, but not harm others. Punk is a vision of your protest'' BIGor, jan 2014
S.O.R. was formed 1984 and was the first HC band in Idrija, small town in Slovenia. Before they started playing Idrija had two strong punk bands: Kuzle and Sund, who has made some great tracks on the ex-Yu punk scene. S.O.R did something similar in the HC scene. Between 1984-88, they visited the studio three times where they recorded several demos and managed to play on some of the biggest youth festivals in Ex-Yu. On this LP you can find S.O.R. complete works with all studio and some live tracks. In addition, there’s also a lot of photos and other memorabilia. Gatefold cover with inner sleeve and 2 inserts. 300 copies included CD version too. All songs are remastered!
SAD BOYS "demo" (Discos Enfermos) - 8€
Sad Boys is a band from New York with a brutal sound that mixes English punk sound with Japanese pogo-punk and giving all an incredible personality; strongly marked bass-lines under a distorted and screeching guitar , relentless drums on 1-2-1-2-1-2 makes can't stay quite listening to this shit ... and acute and squeaky voice of Emma is fucking punk.
THE INJECTIONS and TOM & BOOT BOYS influences are indisputable and even something of THE WANKYS can be appreciated, but giving it a personal touch with the characteristic voice. 12 tracks that for me are the best of the band and almost impossible to find in the original format of cassette released by the band itself. Very special release with the demo on A side and etched B side with work of Emma B, screenprinted covers in 3 different colors and insert with lyrics and band photo. For me, as simply essential punk.
SADO NATION "we are not equal" (Radiation) - 14€
Formed in 1978 by David Corboy, senior citizen in Northwest punk rock, (who had been playing in bands since 1963!), Portland's KBD punk legends SADO-NATION released their groundbreaking debut EP in 1980, and switched right after to a faster and tighter hardcore punk mostly thanks to the addition of the singer Mish Bondage to the band. Voted best female voclaist by Flipside in 1984, Mish's frightening stage presence and meaningful lyrics, gave Corboy's compositions a new twist, which resulted in one of the most hidden treasures of American 80's Hardcore Punk history. SADO-NATION first lp, originally released on the Brainstem label in 1982, is now legitimately reissued on vinyl for the first time in 30 years, thanks to Radiation Records and the original band members. After years of struggle and despair, hundreds of punk record collections can now be easily completed.

Sarabante is a crust/ hardcore punk band from Athens, Greece formed in late 2006.. During the summer of 2011, they released their first album “Remnants”.
The LP was released by Sara Records, the band’s own label, followed by a limited edition CD by Southern Lord Records. Ensuing was an Eastern European tour and numerous local live shows, while releasing in spring of 2013 “¸ñìáéá Ôùí Êáéñþí / Under The Shadows”, a 7” EP via Man in Decline Records. Heavily influenced by the oppression and trying to withstand the ongoing crisis in their home country Greece, forged in times of extreme austerity, blackened even more their focus in composing the new material, which they recorded in 2014. Their new stuff is darker, filthier and more sincere and destructive than the first. “Poisonous Legacy” will be available from Southern Lord on vinyl + digital downloads only.
SCATHA "after the dust settles" (Agipunk)
DOUBLE LP - 16€
Scatha from Scotland is the band formed in 1993 by the ashes of Scottish celtic tribal HC band Sedition and Disaffect. Although their activity term was short (1995 to 2005), their music was so influencial, almost globally just like former Sedition. This double Lp features in their entirety "Respect, Protect, Reconnect" '96 Lp, "Fuck the system" '97 Ep, "Birth, life and death" '98 Lp and tracks from the split Ep with Dagda. Comes with thick booklet with lyrics. It must be said Scatha is less celtic /tribal compared to Sedition but much simple, metalish with attitude and screaming "FUCK THE SYSTEM", total raging metalish crust HC attack!! Just like Discharge and Chaos U.K.. Scatha has created another standard of hardcore, still now active as a new band called "T.R.I.B.E." which we must not miss!
SECT "no cure for death" (Southern
Lord) - 17€ (Black Vinyl)
Following the signing of North American hardcore group SECT to Southern Lord earlier this year, the band has since completed recording their second full-length, and label debut, No Cure For Death, and with plans to release the album on November 24th. No Cure For Death was recorded with Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studios and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music.
Comprised of an international cast of scene veterans, who cut their teeth in that formative moment of political, cynical, antagonistic extremes, SECT unites vocalist Chris Colohan (Cursed, Burning Love, Left For Dead), guitarists James Chang (Catharsis, Undying) and Scott Crouse (Earth Crisis, The Path Of Resistance), bassist Steve Hart (Day Of Suffering), and drummer Andy Hurley (Racetraitor, Fall Out Boy, The Damned Things). The result of these musicians’ alignment is a caustic, riotous, belligerent style of vile hardcore fed by a boundless well of socio-political vitriol.
SECT gets right down to the blast beats and breakdowns that fight it out in their chaotic jams. They cut the shit and go for the throat with no time to waste, “because the Orwellian police states and irreparable social and ecological disasters we once saw off on the horizon are now on our front doorsteps, in full swing. And in just such a volatile, precarious moment as this for civilization, there is more reason than ever to keep lashing out at a world more suicidally-bent on its own destruction and the exploitation of people, species and the ecosystem itself, than perhaps ever before in history.”
For SECT, this is the purpose of hardcore as they know it, conveying an urgency that transcends age, credentials or scene politics, to convert desperation into real talk and action.
Southern Lord will release No Cure For Death on November 24th; stand by for audio samples, videos, preorder links, and more in the days ahead.
SECTION 5 "we wont change" (Disco Nightmare) - 12€
Section 5 formed in 1981 in Stoke on Trent England. Formed by Tosh & Sid the original bassist for many years. Roddy Moreno (Oppressed) signed the band in 1985 to his label Oi! Records.
"We Wont Change" their debut album came out in 1985. By 1988 for the "Street Rock n roll" album on Link they had been joined by Tezz Roberts ex Discharge/Broken Bones & UK Subs. This is official reissue limited to 298 copies.
SEX DRIVE - s/t (Crucial Response) - 10€
Named after the classic NECROS song, SEX DRIVE from Holland plays raw and primitive hardcore inspired by bands like DIE KREUZEN, SSD and VOID. Not interested in creating a carbon copy of any of these bands. Expect no nonsense, no gimmicks, no posturing. Just fist pumping riffs, ferocious drumming and snarling, demented vocals. This is furious, relentless fast early '80s hardcore that leaves nothing but chaos in your head.
SEX PRISONER "tannhäuser gate" (RSR) - 10€
The power violence revival continues. Sex Prisoner Tucson, Arizona - Powerviolence/Hardcore unit, sound a lot like Crossed Out mixed with some Infest. The sound is heavy, abrasive, and definitely rife with anger blending powerviolence with a beatdown jock and metalcore approach. They rarely venture into full-on thrash, which is a plus and offering sixteen furious bursts of burly powerviolence/hardcore. Corelease with Deep Six Records.
SILENCE "the deafening sound of absolutely nothing" (Profane Existence) - 14€
Silence are a highly active post-punk/peace-punk band from Pittsburgh, PA. “The Deafening Sound of Absolutely Nothing” strives (and succeeds) to achieve the perfect mix of between peace and post punk. By taking influences from The Mob, Bauhaus, Zounds, Killing Joke, Amebix, Crass, Conflict, Internal Autonomy and Joy Division SILENCE have created what can only be described a brilliant debut LP. At one moment this record is dark, heavy, and atmospheric and then the next moment it makes you want to dance and sing along. Lyrically SILENCE are much closer to the anarcho side of the previously listed influences. Lyrics focus on a variety of topics but often have a strong focus on the way punk and activist communities deal with political struggle in our current political climate.
“The Deafening Sound of Absolutely Nothing” comes with a 16 page magazine size zine containing lyrics, personal writings and song explanations. Designed, printed and assembled by the band themselves in true D.I.Y. fashion.
SINATRAS "are you ready"
(Rave Up) - 11€
Formed in 1976, Sinatras were one of the greatest and obscure outfits of the early U.$. punk scene! In 1979 they released an amazing 7" ("TEDDY CRASHES BLOND DIES / SOME OTHER BOYS") now totally impossible to find. Their sound was directly inspired from bands such NY Dolls and Heartbreakers. Pure NYC punk'n' roll sensations!!! This anthology contains 7 killer studio tracks and three 'live' songs, recorded from a mixer desk.
SKIN LIKE IRON "arrival"
(React!) - 17€
Skin Like Iron’s new LP, “Arrival” features 10 songs that are mournful, somber and eerily melodic. Fusing an eclectic mixture of influences from Wolfbrigade to Black Flag, Siege, and even The Pixies and The Cure, this album succeeds in accurately portraying Skin Like Iron’s unique take on hardcore music. Huge guitar riffs combine with powerful basslines and pounding rhythms to form dramatic compositions that are saturated with melody and atmosphere. The music is supported by lyrics that search for hope and reason, while questioning the damages human beings visit upon one another. Each song is an attempt to reconcile the way in which life’s fleeting moments of beauty are tempered by depression and failure. “Arrival” is a record about duality: Hope and hopelessness. Beauty and ugliness. Virtue versus the failings of human nature.
“Arrival” was recorded at The Atomic Garden with Jack Shirley, and is the band’s most ambitious production to date. The album artwork was produced by guitarist/vocalist, Alex Capasso, and continues the visual theme of the band’s two previous 12″ albums.
SOCIAL DISTORTION "white light, white heat, white trash" (Fan Club) - 12€
In 1996 Social Distortion released their 5th album, White Light, White Heat, White Trash. The line-up featured a new drummer Chuck Biscuits (Black Flag/Danzig and many more). White Light, White Heat, White Trash was the last album with Dennis Danell on guitar (he sadly died in February 2000).
The album received Social Distortion's highest ever chart position, entering the Billboard 200 album chart at #27. It also includes radio favourites "I Was Wrong", "When The Angels Sing" and a superb cover version of the Stones' "Under My Thumb".
Stylistically, the album is harder and considered a return to their hardcore punk roots. Social Distortion is nothing less than a legend in the punk genre and still continues to receive worldwide respect and support. Comes with insert.
SOCIAL DISTORTION "sex, love and rock 'n' roll" (Fan Club) - 12€ (Red Vinyl)
Sex, Love and Rock 'n' Roll is the sixth album by American punk rock band Social Distortion. It is their first studio album in eight years, since the release of White Light, White Heat, White Trash in 1996, the longest gap between Social Distortion's studio albums to date. The album was originally scheduled to be released in the fall of 2000, but was not yet completed, and it was officially released on September 28, 2004. A great deal of the album is a musical eulogy to former guitarist Dennis Danell, who died in 2000. The album's opening track, "Reach for the Sky", was released in late 2004 and became one of Social Distortion's biggest hits. Comes with insert.
SONIC YOUTH "evol" (Eurofan) - 12€ (Transparent Vinyl)
EVOL is the third studio album by Sonic Youth. It was released in May 1986, through SST Records.
SPECTRES "nothing to nowhere" (Sabotage) - 12€
“Nothing to Nowhere” is the Spectre’s second full length release, following up 2010′s “Last Days. This new record features ten songs that explore a range of influences from early west coast punk to British post-punk and anarcho, early death rock and new wave.
SPECTRES "last days" (Taken by Surprise) - 12€
The 1st full-length from SPECTRES expands the song writing skills from their 2 previous 7"s to include some more angular writing abilies. The vocals are more dynamic and overall better thought out. Being compared to bands like JOY DIVISION and SISTERS OF MERCY is a hard thing to live up to, but they have definitely taken those influences and molded them into something heartfelt and profound.
SPINE "time has gone" (Assault) - 12€
After almost 2 years in the making, the debut SPINE LP is here at last. 14 songs of pure muscle including a new and improved re-recorded demo track. While the previous SPINE material was slightly more Boston HC influenced, this material heads more in the direction of INFEST and YOUTH OF TODAY while still retaining that SSD flavor. Don't miss out on SPINE'S best record to date...this shit will tear you apart.
SS DECONTROL "the kids will have their say" (Suicida Discos) - 12€
The Kids Will Have Their Say is the debut album by the Boston hardcore punk band SSD. The album was released in 1982 as a split-release between Dischord and X-Claim records. 18 songs in about 21 minutes. Powerful as well as influential. A must have indeed. One of THE classics of the early 80s hardcore scene. Printed lyric insert included.
STALAG 13 "in control" (Dr. Strange) - 12€
Reissue one of the most sought after Nardcore releases of the early '80s: Stalag 13's "In Control." Features the original tracks plus four bonus songs not on the original Upstart release. For fans of Ill Repute, Minor Threat and Uniform Choice.
THE STALIN "discography 1982-1984" (Fan Club) DOUBLE LP –
The Stalin began in 1980 and blew away all previous attempts at Japanese punk rock with their radical, evolving style. The band was founded by Michiro Endo, a 32 year-old socialist activist, Vietnam veteran, and street singer who had spent time in the West. He chose the name because "the name Stalin is very hated by most people in Japan, so it is very good for our image." Because he was a socialist, he also explained the name as meaning "the downside of every good idea." I highly recommend the Stalin to everyone., their early albums are classics. This double LP compilation includes their 'Stop Jap" LP (1982), Mushi LP (1983), Go Go 12" (1983) and compilation songs from "welcome to 1984".
THE STAR CLUB "cool posers! (the early singles 1977-83)" (Fan Club) - 14€
Star Club, wow…most people slag this band as nothing but a 2-Bit, Japanese Sex Pistols knock-off. Their image & visual style is no argument against this opinion, but it is NOT AT ALL accurate for their musical style! Originally formed in the city of Nagoya sometime in 1977, they have the dubious distinction of being the FIRST Japanese punk band, ever. one could definately dispute this statement, but whatever…thats what the history books claim.
Bootleg LP contains their singles, with poster.
A1 - A4 Go To Hell - 7"EP 1977
A5 - A9 Club Take One 7"EP 1981
A10 - B1 Club The Star 7"EP 1982
B2 - B6 Shut Up! 7"EP 1982
B7 & B8 The Star Club #6 7" 1983

Skate, Destroy, Rock N Roll. Stalephish started in September of 2012. The band consists of four skaters who have spent most of their lives riding skateboards, playing music and listening to punk rock. The band approach is the same as they approach skating: there are no rules, do it with style and have fun.
STAN OSKARZENIA "pięść wiary" (Black Wednesday / No Pasaran / Zima) - 5€
Good punk rock from Poland. Originally released on tape in 1993.

STINKY RATS "vergognati" (Gonna
Puke) - 11€
This comes straight from the years when Torino's stages were put on fire by stellar bands like DECLINO, NEGAZIONE, NERORGASMO and tons more... and STINKY RATS had nothing to envy.
This LP includes their legendary "Vergognati" 12" that was originally issued by KINA's Blu Bus and WRETCHED's Chaos Produzioni in 1986, here re-edited and mastered from the original reels (!!!)...
A true pearl of pure Italian HC that had people from Negazione and Declino behind the mixer when it was recorded... Bonus tracks include the entire Demotape 1983
STRONG BOYS "riotshock" (Milk Run) - 12€
Strong Boys are a gay hardcore punk band from Dublin who are inspired in bringing about the destruction of bad attitudes and religious brainwashing. They write songs like “No Pope”, “Two Dads” and “Cocks and Crosses” with it’s opening line, “You call yourself a Catholic, But you like sucking cock”. This is queer liberation backed by a gruff Negative Approach style of hardcore punk. It seems that many gay hardcore bands verge on parodies where once you get over the initial chuckle of pun names like Black Fag, Gayrilla Biscuits and Youth of Togay, comes the realisation that most are kind of average. Not so Strong Boys who have more in common with legendary hardcore queer rockers Limp Wrist. Their debut LP is full of invective bile. On colored vinyl.
SURROUNDINGS st (Free Cake) - 10€
Baltimore, MD's Surroundings offer their most crushing material to date with their debut self-titled full-length. After a split 10" with New Jersey's Pellinore and numerous full U.S. tours, Surroundings has quickly made a name for themselves. Surroundings offer 11 drug-induced tracks on this 12" piece of wax, which includes furious speed not unlike Terrorizer or Haymaker, to crushing drone much like Neurosis or His Hero Is Gone. LP includes digital download.
SYNTHETIC ID "apertures" (Erste
Theke Tontraeger) - 8€
Widely heralded as one of the best new bands in the SF Bay Area. SYNTHETIC ID play taught, angular, aggressive post punk oft compared to The Wipers, Gang of Four, Wire and Mission of Burma. This record uses tension to level whatever is put in front of it. Use it to flatten your neighbor's house. Includes download code. First pressing limited to only 500 copies. "Synthetic ID sound like Greg Sage, D. Boone, and Colin Newman fabricating the house band for the International Space Station. Or better yet, spending three days in close quarters on an uncharted trek to the Sea of Tranquility. Anxious paranoia dripping from the walls. It's jerky, derailed, and draws heavily from early post-punk, but chugs along at a classic punk tempo, blasting out totally agitated lyrics the whole time. Space madness? Or just a need to escape the surface of this planet, even if it just be through the act of playing two minute punk jams? Either way, it's exciting and different.
TARGET OF DEMAND "man's ruin" (Radiation) - 14€
One of the best kept secrets of '80s California hardcore punk, TARGET OF DEMAND hailed from Long Beach and only released this 10-track smasher on the small Happy Hermit label and a couple compilation tracks before disbanding. Due to their very short existence as a band, and the fact that they were much more influenced by Teen Idles or SS Decontrol and the sounds coming out of Boston and the Midwest, rather than what was going on in California at the time, this incredibly ripping U.S. hardcore mayhem hasn't been reissued until today. Remastered by California punk legend GEZA X, from the original analog tapes, this is 100% pure American hardcore from 1983. RIYL: Black Flag, Poison Idea, Minor Threat, early Suicidal Tendencies. Limited to 400 copies on black vinyl.
THIRD WORLD CHAOS "new move for error" (Fan Club) - 13€
European pressing of this cult Philippine hardcore punk band from the early 1980s. I don't know the story behind this band, but the sound here is very similar to So Cal bands like Adolescents, Channel 3, etc. fast paced catchy melodic hc/punk. Really great stuff from a band that's almost uknown outside the Philippines.
TOTAL CHAOS "early years" (Radiation) - 14€
RECORD STORE DAY EDITION. Though Total Chaos' first record came out in 1993, their sound is pure '80s classic hardcore and Southern California thrash. Collected here are their earliest original recordings before some of them were re-recorded for Epitaph. Tracks 1 to 5 were recorded in September 93, tracks 6 to 7 in March 93, taken from the debut LP 'We Are The Future', tracks 8 and 9 in July 92, taken from the live 7" 'Nightmares' and tracks 10 to 15 were recorded in June 91, taken from the band's first demo. Limited to 500 hand-numbered copies.
CONTROL "typical system" (Iron Lung) – 14€
Finally, a new deep cut from Melbourne’s visceral post-punk band Total Control. Typical System, their second LP, was written, recorded, created over the past two years and is set for US/Worldwide release via Iron Lung Records on June 24th and self-release in Australia/New Zealand on June 20th.
Total Control emerged from Australia’s dynamic punk scene in ’08, releasing a succession of 7”s that developed from an aggressive post-punk band sound to studio forays into electronic forms from minimal wave to house. Their debut LP, Henge Beat, was commended as one of the few records released in 2011 that evaded the ease of classification and competent tribute act status of most modern bands.
Subsequently, they have released three very different records: a split 12” with Thee Oh Sees, a 7” single on Sub Pop and a house remix 12”. Typical System develops on the incongruent demands of their debut LP and ensuing releases, a further development on their continually evolving sound.
JUHLA "1983/84" (Fight) - 10€
Autumn 1983, Tampere SS and Marionetti split. Some members of both bands met and formed a new band which became Tuomittujen Juhla. They had an aim to create something special and new, which was not supposed to be hardcore punk. The band released two demo tapes during 1983 and 1984. The Last demo was supposed to be released as self-financed EP via band’s Rapagonda label, but was eventually shelved. Tuomittujen Juhla run out of steam soon after and some of the members joined to Kuolleet Kukat. The A-side of this album contains demo from 1983 and B-side demo from 1984. Some of these tracks were released as part of compilation tapes at the time . Now for the first time on vinyl.
TRAP THEM "seizures in barren praise" (Deathwish) - 18€ (Clear Vinyl)
Recorded by Kurt Ballou at God City Studios, "Seizures In Barren Praise" shows Trap Them at their most vicious. Having mastered their art of aural bludgeoning, the album musically stomps and claws with emotion. "Barren Praise" itself is a fictional ghost town version of every non-fiction town" says McKenney. "Lyrically, previous Trap Them releases are all stories from people who had lived in "Barren Praise" before deciding to up and leave. This is the story of those who stayed behind to tell the stories of watching everything unfold..." states McKenney. Upon listening, it's hard not to picture fragments of your own life as part of the chaotic debris that are these fictional lives. The friends, family, and faces of those that make up the ensemble cast of your own life are all there, indirectly. Making "Seizures In Barren Praise" a broken mirror for the world. Exposing every fear, weakness, and wound.
TROTSKIDS st (Do Or Die) - 15€
Trotskids are probably one of the bands that made a lasting impression on the French scene during the 80's. Official repress of their 1st mini LP 6 tracks released in 1984 + 2 tracks from "Chaos" compilation + 2 unreleased tracks (demo '84 & live '85) with insert, 500 copies made, yellow wax.
UNA BÈSTIA INCONTROLABLE "10-11-12 demo" (La Vida En Us Mus) - 14€
UNA BÈSTIA INCONTROLABLE was born in 2012 as a side project with members of GLAM, DESTINO FINAL and CROSTA. They got wind of GLAM playing a show in London and decided to jump on the bill. They got a set together and recorded it in a rush to have some tapes to sell as said show. The tape recorded mere weeks after the band's inception remains an extremely powerful recording that only 100 lucky people managed to get on its original format. It shows the band as its rawest, pushing the limits of their previous bands as far as possible and setting the mood for what "Observant Com El Mon Es Destrueix " LP would be.
10-11-12 comes housed in a 12 panel poster similar to the ones CRASS records made popular in the 80s with artwork by Guillem El Muro and Oriol Roca.
UNA BÈSTIA INCONTROLABLE "metamorfosi" (La Vida En Us Mus) -
Since emerging fully-formed at the end of 2012 Una Bestia Incontrolable have opened up a place for themselves among the very best hardcore-punk bands in the world. International hardcore is in rude health at the moment but while some indulge in enjoyable well-crafted genre exercises, a crushing mosh-part here, a studied d-beat there, UBI have developed a sound that's compelling and punk, but clearly apart from the autophagic morass that is often punk in the internet age.
Much of Metamorfosi finds itself as a series of shifting hypnotic pulses rolling into each other. Bass and drums chug onwards, a swirling erratic heartbeat, an oncoming force, a nagging buzz and rumble tickling your hindbrain just on the murky borders of conscious thought, as the guitar scritches and scratches with grubby panic, insistent catchy riffs needling and dragged out like stuckthought phrases, daggersharp licks shimmying forth in the sinister thrum.
The record reverberates with a sense of seething distress, mind and body teetering on the edge of a cataclysmic drop, Abric De Plom (Lead Coat) is a recurring nightmare, swallowing you up and unavoidable, the No Us Ho Esperaveu (You Weren't Expecting It) finds a militaristic drive as it echoes with the cold dislocation that is the dull pain-throb baseline of millenial life, Nosaltres Som La Carn (We Are the Flesh) thunders with physical discomfort, collapsing in on itself, Tot Sol is a freeing mechanistic 1-2 rush, the title track a stuttering scream of transformation.
Metamorfosi swings and lives with the threat of something constantly approaching, a change, an ending, some long-threatened eschaton finally invoked, something out there, a beast maybe, of some kind, uncontrollable and almost here. (Joe Briggs)
The album comes in a full colour sleeve with lyric insert designed by guitarrist Guillem El Muro and includes download code.
UNDEAD (UK) "the killing of reality" (Radiation Reissues) - 12€
Not to be confused with Bobby Steele of The Misfits mid 80’s American band of the same name, the UNDEAD from Bristol were one of the main names in the ever-growing late 70’s Bristol punk scene, along with such names as Vice Squad, Disorder, and Chaos UK. After a demo tape in 1981, they signed to Riot City Records and released their debut 7” in 1982, which reached number 18 on the UK indie chart. After a second single in 1983 and several live appearances they recorded the ‘Killing Of Reality’ LP in 1984 and soon imploded without leaving much trace. One of the best hidden treasures of the whole ‘UK82’ era, finally back on vinyl with both A-sides from the aforementioned singles included as bonus tracks!
UNKIND "polku" (Self Released) - 10€
Unkind is a three piece band from Finland who formed in 2005. Unkind play a ominous and oppressive style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, sludge, and metal within their sound. Since forming in 2005, Unkind have released a nine song LP titled Ei Mitaan in April of 2005, a ten song LP titled Mieliemme Tuhkasta in November of 2005, an eight song LP titled Hangen Syliin in September of 2007, an eight song LP titled Yhteiskunnan Pikkuvikoja in February of 2010, an eight song LP titled Harhakuvat in August of 2011, and an eight song LP titled Pelon Juuret in in July of 2013. Polku is the band's latest two song EP, which was released on February 17th, 2017. On Polku, Unkind offer up two songs of bleak and ominous sounding hardcore, punk, crust, sludge, and metal. Overall, Polku makes for a great listen and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
UPROAR "and the lord said “let there be!” (Dr. Strange) - 16€
UPROAR, a small town punk band that made an impact on the UK82 scene, despite not playing larger cities, signed to Beat the System Records in 1982, and were featured on the Total Anarchy compilation alongside label mates One Way System and External Menace. With politically charged lyrics and intense energy, UPROAR toured as opening support for The Exploited in 1985, and appeared on various cassette compilations put together by Conflict in the mid 1980’s.
“And the Lord Said Let There Be!” is UPROAR’s first full length release, clocking in at just under an hour, and was originally released on Beat the System Records in 1983. This rerelease on Dr. Strange Records, remastered by Tom Lyle (Government Issue) contains updated cover art and two color vinyl variants. UPROAR releases are highly sought after, due to their initial limited distribution. “And the Lord Said Let There Be!” is a must-have for any UK82 collector.
Highly recommended for fans of: Blitz, The Varukers, Skeptix, The Fits, Abrasve Wheels, GBH, Threats. First time EVER re-issued. Re-mastered by Tom Lyle (Government Issue).
VARUKERS "how do you sleep ?" (Matus) - 14€
Official reissue of VARUKERS' "How Do You Sleep?" album from 2000 and another healthy dose of original UK82-sound meets metallic DISCHARGE/BROKEN BONES riffing and a pissed off Rat on vocals. Just great!
VIBRATORS "guilty" (Radiation Reissues) - 12€
The Vibrators, much like The Stranglers, were significantly older than the other bands comprising the London punk scene in 1977. What they lacked in refined skill, they made up for with insidiously catchy songwriting that captured the minimalist energy of their younger punk rock peers. After releasing two of the essential documents of the punk-era ('Pure Mania' and 'V2'), the original Vibrators broke up, only to reform two years later and issue 'Guilty', a first class piece of power-pop/punk mastery, bolstered by the melodic songwriting. Ripe for a reissue, 'Guilty' is finally back in print on vinyl.
VICTIM "all our dreams are gone" (Rave Up) - 13€
Formed in Belfast in Mid -1977, Victim soon became familiar faces on the emerging Belfast scene. Following their appearance on the legendary UTV punk documentary 'It Makes You Want Top Spit' and a rapidly increasing live following, Terri Hooley signed the band to his Good Vibrations label in 1978 and released Strange Thing By Night / Mixed Up World 7". Early gigs saw them playing with The Fall and Revillos as well as playing the legendary Factory club to accompany the screening of Shellshock Rock, a film on Irish punk featuring among others Victim. A second release Why Are Fire Engines Red / I Need You on TJM secured good reviews and radio support from John Peel despite its horrendous cover. In November 1979 Victim supported the Damned on an extensive tour. Rat Scabies produced the band's third and in my view best single The Teenage / Junior Criminals / Hang Onto Yourself released in 1980 on Illuminated records. This anthology contains a great selection of all their punk material. If you are a fan of Undertones and Stiff Little Fingers, don't miss it.
VICTIMS "neverendinglasting" (Farewell) - 11€
Official re-release by VICTIMS "neverendinglasting". In addition to the original tracks this LP includes the songs from the 1st 7" and the split 7" with ACURSED. You'll get 23 tracks in total of "neverendinglasting" d-beat hardcore power! The LP comes with the original full-colored artwork.
VICTIMS "divide and conquer" (Havoc) - 11€
Third full length from Sweden's Victims. This is one of my favorite bands of recent years because they flawlessly mix my two favorite styles of music, Early 80's American Hadcore and Swedish Crust. This record rises to the challenge of mixing two such potent styles with great vigor. Really hot memorable riffs and smoking guitar work from Jon Lindqvist (also of Accursed, Nasum, Saayadina etc) and Johan's vocals sound like he has been gargling with napalm. This LP reminds me of a lot of the first wave of LPs from hardcore bands in the early 80s. In 81 you had this wave of great raw and fast 7"s from the new hardcore bands. By 84 most of these bands had developed their style and developed enough songs for a full length and had the experience to enter a quality studio and record a solid and memorable LP.
Victims on this release have reached a point where skill and experience have culminated in one totally raging track after another, without changing their sound, selling out or crossing over.
VICTIMS "killer" (Havoc/Combat Rock Industry) - 11€
"Êiller" is the ripping 4th album from Sweden's crazy d-beat rockers! VICTIMS have been the front of Swedish hardcore for many years mixing traditional Swedish d-beat and crust sounds with more straight forward American hardcore influences. This full-length has all the tight and crushing arrangements you'd expect from this crew. A few more songs leaning towards the d-beat rock 'n' roll end of hardcore, but over all very much in the same punishing tradition of the last 2 releases. Raw hardcore at its best from one of the most popular bands in the genre.
VIRUS "1984 demos" (Vomitopunkrock) - 12€ (Black)
One of (at least) two 80s UK bands using the moniker, not to mention the (at least) two bands from the states who chose it as well. This Virus originally formed in the summer of 1983 in Gillingham, Dorset, only managed to crank out two demo tapes before splitting up, but the second, "You Can't Ignore It Forever," is a brilliant slab of UK/anarcho punk that is loaded with fucking fantastic tunes. They had a track ("Oven Overture," from this demo) on a Mortarhate comp after they called it quits, and then 1/2 of the band started up again two decades later. Described as a mix between the Subhumans, Amebix, and Flux of Pink Indians Virus have that raw angry sound , not afraid to be slow like the Mob they will sit perfectly on your shelf alongside Alternative and Omega Tribe.
This is official reissue their second demo "you can't ignore it forever" originally released as a cassette tape in 1984 plus bonus songs from their first demo.
WAIT IN VAIN "seasons" (Panic) - 8€
Fronted by Champion's guitarist and owner of Panic Records, Timm McIntosh, Wait In Vain has a rallying voice that has been a part of the uprising, continuation and return of Seattle straight edge hardcore. Lyrically, the band unleashes an intelligent onslaught of messages covering many social and political issues with an emphasis on self-reliance and a need for action toward an uncaring world. For fans of Judge, Trial, Defeater, and Beyond.
WARCRY "maniacs on pedestals" (Agipunk) - 12€
Originally released by Feral Ward in 2004, here is the second press of this d-beat masterpiece by the mighty all star band from Portland, OR. Featuring members and/or ex members of Tragedy, His Hero Is Gone, Hellshock, Estranged, Remains Of The Day and co., this is totally Discharge/Discard inspired d-beat with a crazy powerful sound and bendings all over the place. Imagine if Death From Above, War Cry or Victims Of A Bombraid would have been recorded in a semi professional studio with the new millennium technics and you'll have an idea of what Warcry are about.
WARCRY "deprogram" (Agipunk) - 12€
Fourth repress (first Euoropean one tho) of the second record by PDX d-beat masters Warcry. You know the story, right? Members of this and that, playing the same old stuff but 10000 times better than many other bands around. Deprogram consists of 8 tracks of brutal, insane, intense and brilliant D-BEAT written with capital letters.
WARRIOR KIDS "les kids d'estrangin vol. 1" (Bords De Seine) DOUBLE LP/ GATEFOLD - 20€

WARWOUND "burning the blindfolds of bigots" (Unrest) - 15€
Unrest Records is proud to announce the new album by Warwound entitled "Burning The Blindfolds Of Bigots". Boasting Damian Thompson (Sacrilege), Rat (Varukers), Ian Glasper (Stampin Ground), and Stevie James (Hellkrusher), what do you seriously expect?! A bass and drum driven beast layered with acute riff laden rhythm and leads, while Rat's vocals are as visceral as ever!! This powerhouse Warwound line-up does not rest on the sounds of their past demos and have strengthened their delivery creating a surgically tight heavyweight metallic punk crossover fiend!! Artwork sickly rendered by none other than Andy Lefton and lyric video for "Let The Truth Speak" courtesy of Andy Pilkington at Very Metal Art.
WASTED "the truth will not be televised" (Trujaca Fala) - 10€
5-song 12" released to coincide with their 20th anniversary tour! Limited edition of 600 copies.
The previous album "Here Comes The Darkness" (2013) was really well received and the band continued to pull crowds and had people wanting to hear more new songs rather than old ones - the best feedback a 20 year old band can wish for. These new songs continue on the same path than its predecessor, although a bit more melancholic and melodic, some songs faster and dirtier. These catchy and energetic songs meet with thought-provoking lyrics about media deception and misinformation, racism, mental problems, depression…
PIGS "hardcore years 1983/85" (Vomitopunkrock) - 16€
The White Pigs formed in CT in 1980 out of the ashes of Zak and the Soda Boys. Lead singer Dave Death came up with the name as a goof on a neighborhood dog that used to shit all over the place. That line up did one Shamrock Pub show, then because of inner band problems disbanded.
In 1982 singer Brian Ripthroat and original founding member bassist Keith Grave agreed to reform the band, but it took until the summer of 1983 to locate drummer George Butterrick (formerly of the Separates) and guitarist Chuck Duncan, to get the band rolling again. They then released their self-titled 7″ EP on Switch Kwilson Productions.
They released a second 7″ in 1984 called Evil Stalks the Innocent on their Songs Of Sin label. It was recorded live and they came on red vinyl. At the end of that year is when they appeared on the aforementioned compilation and had recorded the demo tape.
That leads us to their final release as a band, an EP on Combat Records that featured a different lineup than on the earlier works. After this came out, the band called it quits. It would be a few years before the posthumous 7″ on Mystic Records and the LP on Walkthrufyre would be released.
This LP included their first demo tape recorded in 1983, first s/t e.p (1984) and their EP "hit bonanza" released on Mystic Records in 1989 but recorded in 1985 and released as demo.
WOLFBRIGADE "prey to the world" (Agipunk) – 13€
Orginally released in 2007, and now finally repressed in North America. "prey to the world" is more back to the roots with wolves, skulls and bulletbelts - musicwise it's also back to the days of "allday hell" and "lycantro punk". Scandinavian hardcore with melodic guitar leads over pounding crustcore d-beats with the addition of a good dose of MOTÖRHEAD. "prey to the world" contains 10 uncompromising tracks in a top notch production like always. Recommended for those who like traditional scandinavian hardcore in the vein of ANTI CIMEX. Vinyl is housed in a deluxe gatefold-cover.
WOLF DOWN "stray from the path" (Start A Fire / Powertrip) - 12€

WRETCHED "la tua morte non aspetta" (Self Released) - 12€
Official repress of the classic second 12" released by Chaos Produzioni in 1986. Not as wild as the early stuff, but the spirit remains! The songs structure and the guitar and bass worship have both definitely developed compared to their early sonic attacks. The sound in this 2013 version has been remastered and an extra song has been added to make this release even more interesting. Soon to be another expensive collectible item, so, what are you waiting for?
V/A "BEACH BOULEVARD" (Radiation) -
This album has so much early punk rock history it's SICK! RIK L RIK, The Crowd, the Simpletones. Rik L Rik is the hardest band on this record. The crowd and simpletones are poppy early punk rock, but totally classic. If you love old punk rock, like from the late 70's, then you'll love this album. Reissue of classic punk compilation from 1979.
V/A “HARDCORE LJUBLJANA” (FV) – 14€
An official (?) reissue of the long-out-of-print 1985 Hardcore Ljubljana compilation showcasing the best Yugoslavian hardcore of the era and features racket from:
UBR - probably the best known on here, and maybe even the best known Yugo hc band throughout the international hc scene // ODPADKI CIVILIZACIJE - blazing, raw, straightforward hc with memorable songs // TOZIBABE - Three-piece, all women, very dark punk band. Their once elusive Dezuje EP has been reissued and is now relatively easy to find, and is one of the most unique and brilliant punk records worldwide! Their tracks on this comp are more on the rudimentary side, but are still invigorating in that "inept + genuine expression" kind of way // EPIDEMIJA - More raging fast and raw hardcore - like a rawer and harsher version of early DC stuff, such as SOA // III. KATEGORIJA - Last but definitely not least, perhaps the strongest material on the comp! Similarly to the previous bands - raw, fast, pounding hardcore with convincing gruff vocals, and moments of attempted melody that never fail to explode into a full-blown hc assault! Six-panel fold-out cover with a poster on one side, and lyrics/information on the other side.

VARIOUS ARTISTS "Veritahroja – Suomipunkin Salatut Sävelet 1979-1983" (Svart) - 19€
Following last year's successful and nearly sold out KUOLEMAN TAPPANEET / THE DEATH KILLERS compilation album that showcased punk rock groups across the country, VERITAHROJA / BLOODSTAINS takes the project a step further. Whereas the previous compilation only included material from private pressings and small label seven inches, this one goes even deeper. The focus now is HIDDEN GEMS, UNPUBLISHED SONGS and RARE DEMOS, all compiled by Juho Hänninen, the guy behind the previous comp too. LP comes with a 60 page magazine.
Although BLOODSTAINS is strictly vinyl only with no digital release or download coupons, we've picked three tracks from the album to better give people an idea what to expect.
